Lead Teacher
Kearney, Nebraska · Full-Time · $16–$19/hr
What You'll Do
- ✓Lead daily classroom activities aligned with our age-appropriate curriculum
- ✓Create a structured, nurturing environment that supports development
- ✓Communicate proactively with parents — including daily progress reports
- ✓Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom
- ✓Participate in monthly fire and tornado drills
- ✓Attend required continuing education (36+ hours annually)
- ✓Collaborate with the owner and team to support program quality
What We're Looking For
- •High school diploma or GED (required)
- •Experience with young children in a licensed childcare or school setting (preferred)
- •Familiarity with structured curriculum and early childhood best practices
- •Warm, patient, and emotionally regulated — especially under pressure
- •Reliable: shows up on time, every day, ready to be present
- •Proactive communicator who keeps parents informed
- •Coachable and open to learning our programs and systems
